Rizco is a brand-focused marketing agency based in New Jersey. In 2021, the agency’s design team was tasked with creating a new brand identity and website in celebration of the company’s 25th anniversary.

I was personally responsible for the full website project, carrying the work from sketches and initial design concepts through high-resolution final designs, theme and skin selection, development through a page builder and custom HTML/CSS, testing and QA, responsive optimization, server management, and ongoing theme, core, and plugin maintenance through WPEngine.

I also collaborated with motion design and web development vendors, providing art direction and project management for key portions of the build, including Lottie animations and the homepage hero banner experience.

As with any creative agency, the portfolio was one of the most important parts of the website. I participated in team design exploration for the case studies and built each of them within the site. The result was a hybrid WordPress build combining page builder flexibility, in-house custom work, and third-party development support, with case studies that pushed what the page builder could do visually and interactively.

Special areas of focus included parallax scrolling effects, fluid UX/UI motion, HTML5 video, Lottie animation, and responsive interactions throughout the experience.
